A site about-whatever.
I posted this question earlier, and a couple people suggested I reinstall SD Central and try again, but it didn't work. The problem is, most of the time when I try to apply a suite from Theme Manager, whether it is one of the 1k files or the larger ones, I get the error message "The file type you have passed for(Windowblinds, wallpaper, etc.)is not valid", and the program does not apply that part of the suite. Unfortunately, I usually get an error message for each part of the suite, so it applies nothing. The error message comes from Theme Manager, not from Windows. I also get "Do you want to apply this suite?" boxes with no components listed. Strange. In addition, some suites when applied either crash explorer or apply only a minimal pre-xp taskbar and windows with no borders, making them impossible to move(one suite I have had this problem with is Advance4Life). If I could also ask for clarification as to what the two options for wallpaper, "size" and "download" mean. Thanks very much, guys, for taking time to look at this post!

Some suites aren't put together properly. For instance, the Alien Mind II one references the page where you would view its WindowBlinds skin, not download it. If you were to take apart the .suite that was assembled after it downloaded the various pieces (as opposed to the original 1K text version with just links), it likely has no WB skin in it at all.

I've asked Brian to improve the error handling in Theme Manager to prevent this going forward.
